This was a program to develop an on-going and sustainable Youth Employment Expo and workshop to benefit recently arrived migrants/refugees to Australia in finding suitable employment. It purpose was to implement pathways to employment, with young people receiving intensive assistance with writing resumes and job applications, preparing for interviews and accessing appropriate employment and training in a range of areas and in various sectors.
This program received funding in 2010 from DIAC and a very successful Youth Employment Expo was held in July. For more details see Recent Events
